"I've been well, if busy as per usual. Things are winding down a bit for the end of term, however, and I think they'll stay that way for now. How is life on the Farm?"

"I can imagine. I hear that the SDLP is throwing quite the convention! Life is treating me quite well on the farm. I've always been a country guy so getting out of the hustle and bustle of the capital is nice."
Ed then picks up a glass of champagne from a passing waiter
"I assume you'll be off touring the country soon for the upcoming election?"

"Fairly soon, indeed. The SDLP is moving rapidly ahead with its convention. I found myself unanimously confirmed by the other members to another term as party leader. I just wish Sam would be coming with me on that tour of the country, but the Crown must be non-partisan after all."
Kerrigan sips from a glass of wine of some description.
"Excellent stuff. I'll have to ask the vintage by the time we're done."

Grace would overhear Sarah talking about the wine and head over
"I couldn't help but notice you commenting about the wine. I have to say it is one if my favorites. I believe it is Mourvèdre that has age for 13 years. The Mourvèdre has extremely high tannin and color and this grape doesn’t usually come around in exceptional taste until after at least 10 years of aging. I love it because you can expect a rich, peppery, rustic flavor in it. I guess you could say I am a wine lover, but of course in moderation"
*Grace would laugh and then take a sip of her wine*
"Governor, I must ask, what made you choose the Farm, I thought my husband gave you a few options of residencies. So why choose the farm?"
*she would take another sip*

"The King was very generous in offering a range of options. I've always preferred being out in the country rather than being in a city and so the farm stood out straight away. And then when I came to have a look at the property, I just fell in love with it. Will you continue to use Fanningbank or will you mainly be down in Rideau Hall?"

Prime Minister Kerrigan gently chimes in. "I can understand you there, my friend. Ottawa can be so stifling sometimes, especially when you're... well... someone like me. The people seem to care for me regardless, at least. Once the business is done, though, I do prefer to retreat to the relative privacy of Harrington Lake, or especially back to Hatley."

"I plan on using Fanningbank as a summer retreat to come back to my home Province. That is if my dear husband allows me. I don't think I could stay away for very long. I would miss this quite rustic feel."
